How to make an origami boat

I went on youtube and I looked up how to make an origami boat. You have to start with a square piece of paper and you have to follow each step when folding. I had a little bit of trouble when I was learning how to make this origami. On the video I went to the person making the video didn't talk so I had to follow the steps by watching the person work. I enjoyed learning how to make origami. It was a fun thing to learn.

Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27th 1858. He grew up to be a great president. When he became president he served two terms. He was going to serve a third term but he lost. He was married twice. His first wife, Alice Hathaway Lee died. He was married again on December 2nd, 1886. His wife was Edith Kermit Carow. Total Theodore had 6 kids. One of his kids named Kermit worked and lived in Brazil. In his life he suffered through a lot of sadness and depression which he could fight by doing really dangerous tasks.  When the opportunity to go explore the River of Doubt came along, Theodore took this opportunity. This would be a very dangerous task that Theodore would enjoy to go on and he could forget about his depression. He wanted to go on this expedition because since he wasn’t president again he wanted to do something that would make him be like a hero again. He also wanted to go so he could see his son Kermit again.

In December 1913 Theodore Roosevelt along with his men went on a journey to the River of Doubt. On the journey there were around 55 men including Roosevelt, his son Kermit, Colonel Cândido Rondon, and George Cherrie. Colonel Cândido Rondon was Roosevelt’s Brazilian co-commander. George Cherrie was a naturalist who watched over Roosevelt when he was sick. During the journey they faced many things like their canoes flooding, starvation, and diseases. Three months into the journey Theodore got a fever and he was delirious. It turned out to be malaria. In addition to getting the malaria he sliced his knee on a boulder. During the journey they had to go through many hardships. They battled diseases, starvation, and there canoes flooded. Roosevelt’s sickness began to become out of hand. One morning on the journey he woke up and told his son and Cherrie that he couldn’t go on any longer. He wanted them to go on without him. In the end Roosevelt, Kermit and three other men survived to place the River of Doubt on the map of South America. The river was remained the Rio Roosevelt. Roosevelt died on January 6^th 1919. His son Kermit committed suicide and died on June 4^th 1943.
